Amazon now open the doors to sell products on its brand new marketplace i.e., “Amazon.ae” for UAE
On January 2019, Amazon planned to launch a new Middle East Marketplace only for UAE sellers in replace of Souq.com.
Now, it has been official! Selling on Amazon is now available in the UAE.
This news came into existence at January 2019, when the two screenshots of new marketplace has gone viral on the internet that we already shared in our previous blog post.
But, the new marketplace has the brand new home interface (screenshots below) that completely different from the previous screenshots. It enables more features to educate sellers and encourage them to become familiar with the platform before start offerings products.
Also, on the same page has the “Start Selling” button on the top of the page, to get register first. Though you will not be able to list your products and start selling immediately so you are ready once the migrating is complete.
Amazon also states that, “we are in the process of replacing Souq Selling Center with Amazon Seller Central. Our aim is to simplify the process for sellers, and not ask you to learn two systems in quick succession”.
However, it still a question that Amazon is going to shutting down Souq.com or not?
Amazon also launch Tutorials and Training program, named “Seller University” for the sellers to make them familiar with the platform. Its offer a variety of resources to help sellers to get started as well as grow your business with Amazon.
The page also contains some introductory videos to aware about the basics of Selling on Amazon, How FBA Works, Brand Registry and covers more topics.
Once migrating process will complete then sellers able to list and sell their products on the platform.
Is New Marketplace comes with New Challenges?
New Marketplace definitely comes with new challenges as many Souq sellers are familiar to Souq.com as they are not familiar with the Amazon.
