As reported in January 2020, the e-commerce giant Amazon was planning to launch a complete marketplace in Netherlands i.e. Amazon.nl to offer wide variety of product categories.
Now the news is in the highlight again, on Tuesday (March 10, 2020), Amazon officially launched a full operating online store in Netherlands (amazon.nl) as a marketplace and offering more than 100 million of products across over 30 categories.
Previously Amazon.nl only offer e-books for Amazon Kindle in the Netherlands since 2014 and provided 3 million products from Amazon.de since 2016. Although, Amazon.nl exceeding its limits now and will be offering more than 30 products categories including Consumer Electronics, Sports & Outdoors, Home Improvements, Beauty, Fashion, Shoes, Home & Kitchen as well as Fire TV Stick devices.
