Google+ is no longer available for consumer (personal) and brand accounts. But it is still available for G-Suite.

Almost 8 years back in 2011, Google introduced its new social networking site “G+” to deadlock the Facebook as compared to Facebook’s advertising policies to take command on advertising system. Google also introduced the status update and news feed feature in the Google+ to manipulate the users and provide a better option as it calls “Commodities”.

But after several years, G+ doesn’t make an effective impressions on the users and struggled to win the market.

And, now Google decides to shut-down their social networking site.

One of the main reasons to shutting down Google+ that it leaked of almost 500,000 user’s personal information to the hundreds of external developers that forced to shut-down the Google+ for consumers now.

However, other Google products (such as Gmail, Google Photos, Google Drive, YouTube) were not shut down as part of the consumer Google+ shutdown and you can continue using those products. The Google Account you use to sign in to these services will remain, Google said in a blog.
